The threat of violence in our society today is ever present.  Whether your organization is a business, a school, or some other place where people meet and congregate, you should have a plan to address the potentiality for violence.  A proactive organizational approach to violence should focus on prevention and early intervention; with a process in place to better detect, investigate, manage, and – whenever possible – resolve behavior that has generated concerns for safety from violence.
